The Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed on standard Rosary beads and focuses on trust
in Jesus and His infinite mercy. This version is simplified to avoid copyright issues
while keeping all essential prayers intact.
Begin with the Sign of the Cross. ✝
Simple Opening:
“Jesus, I trust in You. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
Our Father:
Our Father which art in heaven, sanctified be thy name.
Let thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, in earth also.
Give us today our supersubstantial bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors,
And lead us not into tentation. But deliver us from evil. Amen.
On the Our Father bead (start of each decade):
“Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity
of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.”
On each of the 10 Hail Mary beads:
“For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
Repeat this pattern for all 5 decades.
Repeat 3 times:
“Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.”
Simple Closing:
“Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You.”
